Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Women's Class

THU at 9:15 AM - 11:20 AM

Registration for our 2026-2027 class year has begun! We will be doing the brand new studies of James and Genesis.

Think about any friends you would like to introduce to Community Bible Study and invite them to visit and register for next fall. Our first class day will be Thursday, September 3rd, 9:15 - 11:15.

Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church will continue to be our host church.

We have classes for Women, children of all ages, and homeschool classes from 1st through 12th grade. Infants 12 months and younger will stay with their Mother/Guardian during class if a Nursery isn't available.

Each class participant will receive a course book with home study questions including a short Commentary for each lesson. You will be assigned to a Core Group where you will participate in group discussions each week as well as large group teaching. There will be opportunities to fellowship throughout the year.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum will be aligned with the adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
